Over the past week I have been busy rebuilding the front facade of my 'murder' garage (see before pictures). I removed the hanging door and reinforced it to be a sliding barn door with cast iron track wheels. I added vinyl siding and new wood trim.

This year a co-worker and i came up with the idea of dressing up like one of our best selling products from 2010, Robot Santa and Robot Snowman.

My costume was made of a plastic trash can, duct tape, aluminum foil tape, driveway reflectors, cardboard, hobby fabric and flexible dryer vent tubing.

This week DeviantArt released Muro, which is a web based HTML5 digital illustration app that allows your to create from your browser.

The most exciting part of this is that you can now draw right from safari on your iPad. It is nothing really new or outstanding but it is pushing the capabilities of digital illustration and inspiring artist to create form with in an app on your computer or tablet. I have used just about every creative drawing app available on the iPad. Each app brings something new and different to the table. Some artist will find one easier to create than others but in the end its just digital sketching with what seems to be endless possibilities.
